I started my bidding at 4* and $60.00. Went to $80.00. Failed.

Dropped down to 3.5*Upscale bid $60.00 failed but priceline asked me to counter at $77.00.

I did and was accepted. 2 nights...11/26-11/27. Have never stayed there but looks great!

I had started with only 4* in 3 zones and bid from $60 to $82 -- all failed.

Switched out a zone and dropped down to 3.5* and got this at $65. (their own website is at $179).
Never stayed here before, looking forward to it.

Got the Omni on my first try for $75. Total with misc. taxes was $92 and change. Lowest price on the Omni website was $235 including tax. If you're renting a car, don't forget about the steep parking fee of $30/day.

Seems like $80 is the magic number for the Omni... and happy to get it!

Started bidding at $65, used free bids to $80 for the 7th. When I won the Omni and they offered to extend, I added the 8th.

Lowest book direct rate was $165 per as their weekend special, otherwise would have been $219.

After getting a response to my request about trying for 5 rooms, I attempted a $70 bid and was rejected. One of the other travelers immediately put in another bid at $80 for the 5 rooms for 2 nights each and it was accepted.

We have 5 couples traveling to San Diego and would need to bid for 5 rooms for 2 nights each. Can this be done and how? Would this likely effect the rate and must it all be put on one charge card? I previously obtained 2 rooms through Priceline in Copenhagen but have not had experience with so many rooms. Wonder whether it should be attempted.
