Got it on first bid of $42 which is what they appear to be going for. Hoping for either this one or Courtyard as they appear fairly clean and only about 5 years old. Might have been able to get it for less as you do get 3 free re-bids for Chico 3*.

Started bid in Chico zone at $40. Was given a "one-time" opportunity to re-bid without changing zone or star rating, but it required a minimum bid increase of $12. Hah hah. Declined that offer and chose the link to do a standard re-bid. Added the Corning zone and left star level at 3 start. Upped my bid to $42 and it was accepted. Darn it, should have gone $41 cause I still had 2 free re-bids left! (oroville and willows zones, neither of which have 3* or better). Thanks...

I have been noticing a trend this year. I have booked 9 or 10 hotels since February and almost all of them have been won for significantly lower bids than others have listed. I believe the economy is forcing hotels to lower their prices, so if you have any extra bids at all, try bidding $5-10 lower than what everyone is winning! This appears to be a new hotel to add to the list. Lowest available rate at the Courtyard was $89/night fully prepaid.; lowest rate at Fairfield Inn is $87/night. Won on first try (used $37 as that was the lowest price previously accepted in this zone/star level). Didn't even have to use free re-bid.

This "hotel" is structurally a motel, with room flung away from the main building. I've seen nicer 3*s, but it's adequate. No breakfast given at this location.

Thanks to reading the prior posts I got $45 on my first try. Since there is only one zone available it has taken me several days to get the low price in the past. I stay one night as a halfway driving from Northern California to Southern. This is the lowest price I've gotten.
