Found out I probably could have won with a lower bid, but am happy with the price, nonetheless. Seems to be a very nice hotel for this price, plus priceline.com fees/taxes of 18.06. Total amount for one night is $85.06. This website is a great resource that I will be sure to frequent before I bid on another hotel.

Tried booking 2 rooms in Cleveland for Sunday 10/4/09 after the Browns/Bengals game. First bid of $40 was rejected and did not realize that I could not bid again for 24 hours. We were 3 days away. I asked the other couple we were going with to bid $49 that same day and it was accepted. What is the point of only being ablr to bid for a hotel once every 24 hours? I want downtown Cleveland ONLY and am willing to up my price but not lower hotel star ratings ot areas. Had I known this I would have started a little higher than $40 to begin with. The hotels that I want have accepted bids in the $40-$51 range. Also, why does Priceline put your request in for every star rating higher than what you wanted? I chose 3.5 instead of 4.0 starts simply because 2 of the 4 4 stars are...
