[I found out after my last post that blackpup had started yet ANOTHER thread with his success! So moved here for continuity. Blackpup,do you get the idea
now? Let's keep everything together in the future please. Thanks!]

Well after two days of trying I finally had success.
Ambassador East Hotel for $70/night, grand total for 3 nights $266.15 including taxes, fees and insurance.

Lowest price on website brought total to $442.

Blackpup, your rate research is mostly in the NMA zone, and you're bidding in the Loop. Check rates at the Allegro for 3.5*. Also the Blackstone for 4*.

You've failed so far because you're bidding too low. With rates that high at the Hyatt, I doubt even $65 would be successful. I would start over at
$70 and bid up to your limit (once you understand free re-bids).

Please keep all your posts for this stay in one thread. Thanks.

The A/B link is simply Amazing-Bargains.com which links to Priceline. This site earns a small fee, which in turn keeps this a free site. Just click the key
logo above to get to the AB link.

You should carefully reread Hotel FAQ's #9 and 10. Good luck
