I was just playing around for dates around my birthday next March. My first bid was accepted and $40 is the lowest for Resort. Then I bid for a second room for my friends. I placed the bids through the Priceline hotel link at Amazing-Bargains.com www.amazing-bargains.com/priceline.html If anyone else is thinking about doing this, I'd jump on it now before it goes away.

So who got in on this incredible deal? The other travel sites says the 3/3 rate is $439/night. What a steal! Unlike Travelocity who tries to weasel out of every pricing error, there's no way for La Quinta to back out of this one since it's a binding contract with Priceline. Hope they treat the Priceline guest fairly despite the low price

There is $20 resort fee, but this is an incredible deal for March! All were booked through the A-B link of course. We should have BFT Reunion. I want to meet the Cool Italian American.

Posts: 10561 (07/30/06 2:06 PM) Registered User Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Unless Priceline recently changed their program $40 is the lowest bid they'll accept for a Resort, even if the Resort has a lower rate than $40 loaded into the system. However lower bids than $40 for a 3* or 4* can be upgraded to Resort. If La Quinta has loaded a $38 or $39 into the system the only way to get that rate is to bid for a 3* and get upraded. Someone should try $39 for a 3* and see if they get the upgrade. The odds that a 3* actually has a $39 rate for these dates are practically nil.

I feel like I score big when I land the Hyatt in August to bake over a hot weekend at a rate $59. The Hyatt is a great place to stay and their spa is second to none but LaQuinta has a quality and beauty about it that is very unique and special. At $40.00 this is an amazing deal.
