$130 won on the first bid thanks to mmanem. HOWEVER this hotel is NOT in DC..I didnt know that. be careful when you bid DC...I never expected to be so far
out....my fault...guess Ill learn. used the A-B link.

Well, it's clearly in a zone that included that possibility. I don't know how you could be surprised to get this if you bid a zone that included this
area.
Not studying the geography confused n400dc. Reading further into this , I see that n400dc thanks mmanem (who posted on June 16) for the lead about his getting
the Westin at National Harbor. Later in the day on June 16 n400dc posts an admission that he made a mistake by bidding National Harbor. National Harbor is Zone
10 and is not in D.C. Agree that it would be clear to most bidders that they must not bid Zone 10 (National Harbor) if they want to be lodged in D.C. and not
across the river in Oxon Hill, MD.
Over several years using Priceline, I have done best in my numerous visits to the DC area. Most often you can get 50%+ off hotel rates consistently winning
bids for 4* in several zones in the $60-$80 range. Never much need to go over $80 per night.
