I bid via Cheryl's link. This is the third or fourth time I got the Holiday Inn when I bid via Priceline name your own price. I always bid the 4 star on Silom and I expect to get it. And I want it. I call them, give the hotel my Holiday Inn number and I am always upgraded to a larger room. This hotel is fine with Priceline bids.
I bid early to get things out of the way. I realize it may be a lower price closer to the day. Still, I saved about 50%. This is an excellent hotel in a perfect location.
4 nights $58 a night and $12 a night taxes or $70 a night in all.

When I went to place a bid, the red box came up saying any bid under $58 is likely to be rejected. Thus, I bid $58 and it took it on the first try. I should have bid lower just to see what would happen.
