We were located on the 9th floor in a room with no view and little light and were told it would be $50 per night extra to upgrade to a higher floor with a view. My husband and I were very pleased with this hotel, it is a very elegant older hotel (built by William Randolph Hearst in the 1920s). Our room, as indicated in my earlier comment, was on the 9th floor with view of walls and the somewhat muted sound of the building's air conditioning, heating units. We did not upgrade for $50 per night as that kind of defeats the whole point of Priceline. The bathrooms are marble and the shampoo and other complimentary products are Bvrglari. This is across the street from the Hilton where I have stayed (also on Pline) and there is no comparison as far as the elegance, stateliness, and ambience with the Warwick winning hands down. I've read some other comments that the rooms are warm and ours did seem quite warm and the heating/cooling unit didn't seem to cool it down. I would be more than pleased to stay at this hotel again, not only for the lovely atmosphere, clean, well appointed rooms, but for the convenience to shops, restaurants, subway, Central Park, and MOMA, among others.
