I am bidding as others have bid in the historical data ($11-$15) for most classes of car. It is the 18th today and I leave on the 20th. Any advice? thanks.

Current pricing via retail purchase method would be a close price as my backup neways. Orbitz has offsite car rental with pickup for $229 plus taxes for the timeframe which works out to $28 per day. I was kinda hoping for half that by bidding on priceline. I used the the priceline link.

Posts: 67 12/18/12 7:23 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I've been bidding on similar dates with no luck. Hotwire was way more than anything on a regular site. I booked a cancellable back-up with Budget which was $170 cheaper than the same car on Hotwire. I still have a few days left to try though.I have gone up to $16 for a mid-size. Anything less than my back-up I would be happy with. I will post my results in a separate title.

Seems strange that none are avialable via priceline becuase tourism is way down, even at this busy season. Used Priceline link everytime.
