Posts: 20 Dec 23 12 2:14 AM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Tags : None We're going down to SeaWorld to use our annual passes before they expire on 12/30 and for reasons not relevant here, we actually wanted to stay in or near to Escondido. Thanks to the guidance of "robfrank" below I just went ahead and bid $68 for a 3-star and got it first time. We're leaving tomorrow and although I might have been able to shave off $5 or $10 with more strategic bidding, I didn't want to stay in another region and thought this was a good deal. Also, because it's Christmas, they could fill up at the last minute and then I'd be in trouble. The best price on the hotel's website was $110 per night.
