Bids today in airport zones of $46 (for 2.5*), $45 (3*) not enough in San Mateo and SFO airport zones. I had tossed in some of the downtown zones as rebid zones, where winning at my bid levels was unlikely but wholly acceptable to me. My bid of $38 in San Mateo alone raised a counteroffer pointing to a price of $51, and I marched it up from there. Retail price at this hotel is $80 on the ESA website - but it's priced $117 or even $130 elsewhere, showing the importance of using hotel websites for research.
