Then I checked the Intercontinental's website for room rates. Thursday alone showed "no rooms available," Thursday through Monday (my full stay) was available, at $304, but Friday through Monday could be booked for $275. So I dropped Thursday from my bid and won Fri-Mon for $68. Not a bad savings: $207 per night, x 3 = with hotel tax, well over 600 bucks on this one trip alone! BFT rocks! And from the reviews, it looks like the Intercontinental may well be top dog among hotels in Atlanta. Posts: 849 Aug 31 06 12:45 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	If other posters are correct and this hotel doesn't "release" cheaper room rates to PL until Mondays, I may have messed up in trying the "Add a night" feature today. Now, even if the hotel does drop its PL rate for Thursday night to $68 on Monday, I have to open a brand new bid -- and might end up elsewhere. "Add a night" might have been successful, if tried then, but now I don't get a second chance, except via a new bid. Of course, this presumes that everyone is correct that the Buckhead 4*s do in fact ratchet their rates down at the beginning of the week. Who really knows...

Posts: 509 Sep 8 06 12:15 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Booked a buddy there a few months ago (also 68 a night thru ab link) and he said the place is great ...BUT the walls between rooms are very thin so can be noisy if u get bad neighbors...(he did and requested to be moved) also said parking charges are high. Other than those two caveats he loved it!
