I bid $35 on 2.5 stars and got it on the first try. $35.00 + $12.03 Taxes and Fees => $47.03 Total.
I don't see Hampton Inn on the hotel list page; perhaps it should be added. It's in the same neighborhood (Zinfandel & Rt 50) as the Wingate and the now 3* Hyatt Place and a couple others. It's pleasant enough, either a new building or remodeled in the last few years. Our two-double-bed room was a little snug -- there was a desk, but no desk chair, instead having two big lounging chairs crammed in next to it. The single night stand was overflowing with phone, rent-a-movie device, lamp, and giant alarm clock. I'm guessing the same room with a king bed would be nicer. When I called ahead to request non-smoking (why isn't that the Priceline default???) and no feathered bedding, they were very friendly and accommodating. The included breakfast was significantly above average (including a hot tray with sausage links and mediocre scrambled eggs). Well worth what we paid.
