I've tried on two different occassions the last few days to get tickets through priceline. Below are my two bids. I haven't won yet but I'm going to try again today or tomorrow. Any hints, suggestions, tactics are greatly appreciated.

3 adult tickets, we can travel any time between 6/19 - 6/27 - I've used various dates and all of the criteria ie, #stops, different airport (DAL), non jet, different dates.
3/5 bid I added $25-$50 at a time to increase the bid and add a criteria. 8 bids
Started at $389/pp. Went up to $550/pp - they didn't accept. However they did offer to accept at $767. I can purchase what I want at $788 - so a not go.
3/11 bid I added $25-$50 at a time to increase the bid and add a criteria. 9 bids
Started at $400/pp. Went up to $600/pp - they didn't accept. They offered $767. Again I didn't accept I can purchase for $788.
So the saga continues. I'll keep you posted.
